Position:  Coordinator, Human Services

Brief Description of Position:  Under the direction of an appointed supervisor, the primary purpose of an instructor is to provide quality instruction for the students of Western Piedmont Community College.

Administratively, the Coordinator reports to a Department Head; however, it is the Coordinator who has the responsibility to ensure integrity of the program. This position is an instructional position and requires maintaining a workload based on college policy in addition to satisfying responsibilities as Program Coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Public Health) required.
2. Community College teaching experience preferred.
3. Three years clinical experience preferred.
4. Certification or licensure in addition counseling preferred.

Salary:  Hiring Range – Minimum to Midpoint ($5,403 – 5,854/monthly) 9-month contract
