High School Principal

The South Side Area School District is seeking a High School Principal, (Act 93) with strong organizational skills to lead the High School, grades 9-12 for approximately 300 students. Must have a demonstrated record of accomplishments, leadership, and communication skills; strong knowledge of differentiated instruction, curriculum, and learning communities; data analysis; and success as an instructional leader. Previous administrative experience in secondary education and leadership preferred. Evidence of effective communication and interpersonal skills is a must. Must have the ability to effectively communicate and engage with families in the learning process. The successful candidate must understand a multi-tiered system of support, including the district framework for education. The leader of this building will oversee the college and career-ready pathways to promote students’ success after high school.
