Paraprofessional

The Sault Area Public Schools are hiring for the following position: Paraprofessional.

Positions are based on school year (10-month). Must be highly qualified, able to maintain confidentiality, excellent public relations skills and good verbal communication as well as ability to get along with and communicate with school age students and must pass criminal history check. The position will remain open until filled.

Requirements:
Applicants must complete at least two years of study at an institution or higher education (equal to 60 semester hours) or obtain an Associate's Degree or higher. Applicants may also pass one of the formal assessments: WorkKeys Test (proctored prior to January 2017), Michigan Test for Teacher Certification - Basic Skills (MTTC) or ETS Parapro Assessment (proctored at the Sault Schools Administration Building).

This position has an hourly wage of $14.50 per hour.
