Director of Residence Life

Dakota Wesleyan University is seeking an enthusiastic and student focused Director of Residence Life. The DRL directs the residence life department in creating a living/learning environment that contributes to students’ interpersonal, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical and intercultural development.  This person must be passionate about the growth and development of residential students as he or she will be primarily responsible for all aspects of their residential experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Master's Degree in student affairs or higher education leadership and administration (or related field) is highly desirable.  Bachelor’s degree required. Experience working in student life, supervisory experience and strong communication skills required.  Previous experience at a small private university is a plus. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to the mission of DWU and our values of learning, leadership, faith, and service.
