Bluffview Montessori School located in Winona, MN, has the following positions open for the 2024-2025 school year:

  • Preschool Afterschool Care Lead - Lead preschool After School Care Monday-Friday, 2-5pm.
  • Behavior Interventionist - This position provides quality instruction, support, monitoring, and training using research-based positive behavior management techniques, intervention strategies, coping skills, and problem solving for students with behavioral challenges. The Behavior Interventionist provides training and support to staff in the area of behavior management.
  • Special Education Paraprofessional - Paraprofessionals provide assistance to students with disabilities by offering support needed in any and all areas to remove/overcome barriers to a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) while aiding them in fulfilling the goals of their Individual Education Programs (IEP) as directed by the student’s primary teacher and special education case manager. 
  • Classroom Assistant - Works with the lead teacher to ensure that children have an authentic Montessori experience.  They help prepare and maintain an orderly, attractive, and joyful environment that allows for freedom and the development of responsibility. They regularly observe the students and share reflections with the guide. Classroom assistants are also crucial in modeling courteous and respectful behavior as well as contributing to the warm, supportive, and calm environment of a Bluffview Montessori classroom.
  • Transition Assistant - Will work with the Children’s House staff and children to support and supervise the students during lunch, recess, and classroom assistant lunch break times.  Transition Assistants are also crucial in modeling courteous and respectful behavior as well as contributing to the warm, supportive, and calm environment at Bluffview Montessori.
  • Long Term Sub - Provide instruction for students. 
  • Part-time English Language Arts Teacher (Grades 7-8) - Erdkinder Teachers provide quality middle school instruction rooted in the Montessori philosophy and aligned with state and national standards. This program is strategically designed to help students transition from the Montessori classrooms to a traditional setting for high school.  They use a variety of assessment strategies, including diagnostic, formative and summative, to inform instructional decisions and increase student self-management of learning.
